Why buy a Polar FT7 HRM over a Polar FT4?

I'm looking at these but don't understand the difference. I think they both give HR and calories burned. What's the difference besides the cost?

If you go to Polar's web site, you can compare the various models and their features. I just finished exercising and I have an FT4 on and love it! (I'm not certain but one of the differences may be that one is computer compatible.0

From what I understand, the FT7 has the ability to upload your sessions on to the polar website BUT you will need to purchase a separate adapter to do so. I got the FT7 and I personally did not realize this until after opening the product. I would have saved the $30 and purchased the FT4 if I knew I had to purchase an adapter.0

I don't know the difference between the two, I have an FT7.
I can change the batteries myself and the chest strap is a soft flexible leather, is the F4 the same?0 -
the ft7 can record up to 99 training sessions. The ft4 can only do one.0

Thanks for the input. I know I don't care to upload to my computer but I may want to record more than one training session. Not sure... Is the strap on the FT4 just as comfortable as the 7?0

The FT4 lets you record up to 10 sessions. The chest strap is flexible, soft, and best of all washable! I think the main difference is that the FT7 can be uploaded to their website. I have the FT4 and love it...it depends on if you want to track on their website but you can do that here so why record it twice.0

Very helpful and thanks for clarifying. I'm leaning to the FT4.0
