Should I eat my extra calories?

I'm following a plan with 1200 calories a day. However I'm doing 45-90 minutes of cardio each day (7 days a week) and strength training 3-4 days a week. I do a lot of cardio b/c I enjoy it most of the time. I have a home daycare of 12 kids plus 3 of my own. My husband travels 60% of the time for work. Therefore the only time I get to myself is usually at the gym 430am-630am. I try not to eat my extra earned calories unless I'm really hungrey. However I also use a pre-workout shake and 2 protein shakes a day that use some of my calories. I'm just wondering what everyones thoughts are with the extra earned calories. Do you eat them? Anyone want to give me an idea what I should be doing? I know I'm far from my goal and new to this.
