ok so I want to work out my abs to start building muscle there. I have been doing the jackknife which lifts up your legs and uppper body at the same time. I feel like my upper abs are getting a workout like right below my ribs but nowhere else. What are some other exercises to workout my abs. Please describe themoves because I get really easily confused. Thanks.

You can google or youtube each of these for visuals and proper form but here's a quick list for various abs.
Lower Abs
V-sits
Reverse crunches
Straight leg lifts & lowering
Boat (a yoga pose)
Hanging leg lifts
Obliques (side muscles)
One arm side lying crunches
Bicycle
Sitting or standing rotations
Any type of boxing punch moves where you keep your hips and legs still and punch with your arms0
