So...I've just started this week of gettting back to the calorie counting and the exercising regularly. And yes, I know things will start dropping off (the pounds that is)! But I've gained 1/2 a pound so far this week! I know, I know...my body will take a while to adjust to getting back to this lifestyle, but it's always frustrating to see the scale move "up". So, all I'm asking for is a few words of encouragement, support, and/or motivation! I want to "lose" this weekend, not gain! So...anything would be great!

Hey girlie!!! YOU CAN DO IT!!!
So what's your plan for food this weekend? I am going to work on my weekend menu, so that should help me remember to eat and to keep myself busy! What type of working out are you doing?
Keep up the motivation! Getting motivated is MOST of the battle it seems, and you have that! KEEP IT UP!0 -
Well...here's kind of what I'm trying to get back into...the weight class will start next week:
Mon--1 hour BodyPump (weight) class and 1/2 hour running on treadmill
Tues--45 minute Step class and 15 minute Abs
Wed--1 hour BodyPump class and 1/2 hour running on treadmill
Thurs--45 minute Step class and 15 minute Abs
Fri--Rest or 1/2 hour-45 minutes elliptical or treadmill
Sat--1 hour spinning class
Sun--Rest (but will Laundry and Cleaning)
For this weekend, I think I'm going to sit down tonight and plan what I'll eat...this seems to work well. Only problem is Saturday night we are going to a family/family-friend BBQ and I have NO idea what we will be eating. But I think I can portion myself! Plus with the spinning class, I will have that many extra calories!
What do you do for exercise PrincessLaundry?
Thanks for the support!!

Weight always takes longer to come off than it does to go on. Why is that?!? Keep up the great work and you will see results! :flowerforyou:0

I am always looking for new things to do for working out and keeping myself moving! I am running, swimming, biking, jump roping (now THAT is a surprising calorie burner!), speed walking, I run at the beach, and this weekend I have planed a canoeing trip! YEY!
I have a 10 year old son, a 5 year old daughter, and a husband who I try to create ways for us all to workout in addition to me burning. I also love being outside whenever possible. We keep very busy now...and I love it!!! Thanks for asking girlie!0 -

Sounds fun! And you are totally inspiration! I LOVE your attitude! Hope we can stay friends and motivate each other!!! Canoeing is fun! Haven't done it in quite a while, but my parents own one so maybe I should take it out! Keep up the fun exercising and keep me posted with progress, ideas, and support!

Thanks girlie!!! We will leave the house about 8:00 AM and it is 11 miles from the top of the river to the bottom. The water is crystal clear, the beaches are sugar white, and it is only 3' deep. So this should be an "easy" but fun way to introduce my family to something new. I am having a blast with finding ways to keep everyone busy this summer. My kids keep saying that this is the "BEST SUMMER EVER!!!" Whew! We moved last year, my DH was overseas the year before, our pool was in construction the year prior, we moved he summer prior, my husband had cancer the summer prior to that one, and my daughter was born... Amazing how time can fly and we look back and think, what have we done for us???
Anyway...<<stepping off soap box>> Let me know if you have any other adventure ideas to share! I think we are going to caverns soon too! YEY!0
