Just make sure you are getting a NET of 1200 calories a day. This would be caloric intake after exercise. Eating all your exercise calories is good, but if you can't or are nervous to do so, make suer your final intake of calories for the day is over 1200. Under and your body will go into starvation mode and you won't lose.0

"exercise earns you calories" is my mantra! I do it otherwise I would be chewing my arm off, lol. Even if its just a walk to the park with the kids (60 min round trip= 286 cals). I now love exercise as it means I can EAT. xx0

This depends on how quickly you want to lose weight. Exercise does earn you extra calories, and if you're going the "nice and slow" (and probably healthiest way), then yes, make sure you consume more than 1200/day.
If you're like me, and need to see results a bit faster, you put the exercise calories "in the bank". It's more weight that doesn't show up on the scale.
I lost 65lbs since last Feb by eating 1108/day (bad. I do NOT recommend this, but MY body is strange- it accustomed to it wonderfully)...when i started at the gym, and worked out like a maniac, i of course had to eat slightly more (growling tummies don't give you strength to list weights). But, for those times when i needed to lose weight faster, i simply ignored the exercise calories and ate 1200/day, plus worked out.0
