Honestly, what I have been trying to do in those situations is letting my friend choose the place and challenge myself to find something healthy. I go online ahead of time and plan what I'm going to get. Now, if my friend chooses a place with NO healthy options, I tell them to choose something else. :) But most of the time, you can find a good option anywhere and I think it's important for all of us to learn to do that!

Its about the choices you make when you are there. Avoid the fries, potatoes, rice (carbs) and get in some extra veg or a salad. Its hard but ask them about the food when you are out - how its cooked, what its cooked with, sauces etc and then tell them how you want it done! Good luck!

Applebees! They have a good selection of items on their menu that are under 550 calories. I think they also list weight watchers points on their menus for those on WW>

I just wanted to tell everyone that I DID go to Applebees and I had the best meal. The waitress said it was around 500 calories, but when I went to log it in, it was only 319 calories!!!! If you guys go to Applebees, get the Spicy Pineapple Glazed Shrimp with Spinach. It is so good and I am excited it was healthy!!!
