I just want to share that when I first began using MFP and I'm a "numbers" person - that my family kinda rolled their eyes at me and gave me some static for all the time I took reading labels and writing everything down. But as I've lost the weight (30.5lbs so far) they are slowly getting on the bandwagon of support!

Case in point: I came home from work the other night and Hubby was fixing Chili for supper - and on the countertop, there was all sorts of empty cans and empty packaging, etc.... So I grabbed a clean trash bag outta the cupboard and was headed to the trash can, thinking that the reason all the "stuff" was still on the counter was because the trash can was full.
Hubby said, "What're you doing? That bag doesn't need changed!!"
I said, "Well then, why didn't you toss all these empty cans away??"
His reply, "I didn't want to be in trouble for not saving you these labels so you can add them to your MFP food diary!"

I just had to smile!! And of course, Hubby got a big hug!!
