So I've noticed I have been able to talk myself out of a workout once, sometimes twice a week !!!!! Ahhhh..... I would never have done this 2 months ago so I need to really get strict here otherwise I can see my hard work going right down the toilet. I am not giving in to my temptations to slack off !! I find that if I let myself miss one day, I will justify day 2 as well ??? Its sooo twisted and I have already lost 20 lbs!!!! I cant let this beat me !! Sooo... from now on, NO MORE SKIPPING WORKOUTS!! This is my spring challange.
Anyone else???
Anyone else???

I thought this was going to be about not skipping, as in with a skipping rope, which I would have been all for as I HATE skipping!
Exercise is addictive, the more you do the more you enjoy it. Throw yourself back in!0 -
Come on girl you can do it. You're so right - if you miss one day, you can easily miss another. You will NOT undo all your hard work. Start now - get right back to it.
p.s - well done on the 20lb loss, fantastic!0 -
me to, thought was going to be about how skipping is bad for you, but hey ho, I hope you stop skipping your workouts :X0

AHH! I'm in the same boat. Last week I got really lazy and almost didn't exercise last night.
Just write down how much weight you'll lose in a few months and imagine what you'll look like. It's such a great motivator!0 -
Thank you!!!! I am in the same boat. Smack me back to reality..please. I missed friday with a stupid excuse and said i would do double saturday. Made another excuse. 27 lbs so far and it does feel good...I do not wnat to lose my momemtum. I am going back to the gym in the morning!!!!0

Please stay on track! If you stop we all feel it! Were here for you! Dont let yourself down! Your too special and too wonderful! Good luck!0

I've done that also. I'm challenging myself to do the same. NO SKIPPING on ANYTHING ,workouts and food. I'm sure you can do it!
Congrats on the 20lbs you've already lost Good luck with the rest!0 -
Have you thought about shaking up the kind of exercise you do? I recommend committing to a couple of exercise classes if possible, because then you have a sense of needing to be there at a certain time...plus they're more fun than staring at a wall while running on treadmill! or forget the gym and get outside!
congrats on the weightloss so far, you clearly have strength of mind to have come this far - it sounds like you need some new goals to set your mind to.
best of luck :flowerforyou:0 -
That's how I have managed to sabotage my chancse at getting fit and healthy every time. I'd start out on a roll, then skip one day and the rest was history. If I give myself slack, I always take it too far. I have not mastered self-discipline...at all. It's a good thing you're acknowledging this and getting back on track before it gets out of hand.0
