I want to stay under, any suggestions?
Theres no high quality chinese spots around here, so I know it'll be a bit greasy. But I still have 1000 caloriies for the days.

Anything with lots of veggies... and untouched meat, meaning no orange chicken, or anything battered. or covered in sauce...0

I like to do a shrimp and veggie stirfry with extra veggies and have them stirfry it in broth or water instead of oil, that keeps it pretty low in cals and fat and high in fiber and protein.0

You can request things like chicken with brocolli without the sauce or the sauce on the side so you have control over what goes on it. And if they have brown rice instead of white, go for that0

cut the portions in half and take some home...that is what I have to do. and try not to look at your sodium cause it'll be ridiculous lol0

Well I'd say watch your portions but all chinese places have steamed foods, if you eat something greasy- maybe just eat 1/2 of it. I am a Chinese food fanatic- and may be going tonight with a friend so I really hope that I can keep it together!
ask for brown rice , won ton soup isn't too bad either. I'd say steamed chicken and veggies- There still may be a lot of salt- so I'd suggest not weighing yourself tomorrow-
1000 calories is a lot- and don't forget the fortune cookie LOL0 -
I eat beef and broc with steamed rice. Not sure if its the best but it sure tastes good.0

Anything not deep fried (I know!) Beef and Broccoli, Kung Pao Chicken, that kind of stuff.I've also heard brown sauce has less calories. little rice. Lots o veggies. Stay away from desserts. That's about all I know!0

hmm. I'm not sure if its a buffet sytle restruant but I would stick to seafood. When my husband wants chinese I do a small shrimp in green curry sauce. Something spicy also doesn't hurt because it kicks up your metabolism as well. Good luck.0

I would request steamed veggies, chicken. If they offer brown rice get that. Otherwise get a small portion of white rice.
Personally I would be reluctant for stir fry because of the amount of oil they may use to stir fry.
I am not sure of calorie content but I was thinking hot and sour or egg drop soup might not be too bad. Double check that if you are interested in a soup.
Egg rolls are probably friend. Spring rolls might not be to bad. That would be a good option.
Drink up the water or hot tea and have a great time!0 -
steam veggies not stir fry anything meats light on the sauces no soy sauce. small portions. good luck0

I take it you aren't going to PF Changs. But this link might give you some guidance.

These are the things that I eat - i just watch my portions cuz I can eat my weight in chinese food! LOL
Green Bean chicken, Tofu stir fry,Beef & Broccili, White/brown rice, Soup (any kind of soup)0 -
Chinese soups have CRAZY sodium in them. Don't go there. Beef and brocc, chix and brocc. Chix with string beans. Some places will have a grilled chicken hibachi meal too. That would be the best bet. Try to order brown rice if you can - better for you than white, and no fried rice!0

I always go with broccoli and chicken with mushrooms added. I usually get steamed dumplings too and spit the order with my husband and son. It is pretty low in calories and carbs. Stay away from anything with noodles or rice in it....0

I forgot about this website it has a TON of low-sodium recipes (even has recipes for soy sauce & teriyaki)....anyhow just in case next time you want to cook your GF dinner!
