Here is the situation. I worked out with my trainer this morning. We did "heavy weights for legs" The last time she did this I was so sore I felt it for about 3 days afterwards. I am also training for a 5K. Tomorrow I am supposed to run 20-25 minutes. I don't know if I am typical, but I am usually fine after a tough workout until the 24 hour mark, at which point I am a hurting puppy. Should I do my run tonight and do something different tomorrow morning, or should I just wait until the morning and modify my 5K training to suit my level of soreness?

Have you tried running after this type of workout before? I have found that as sore as I am, I feel so much better with a good run or walk because it helps get the blood in my legs flowing and stretches out those tight muscles.0

i would just do a nice jog, 4.5 mph. will help work out the soreness normally. then again everyone is different.0

I think you are right, a good run tomorrow may feel better, plus my 2yo just woke up screaming so I think mommy is needed at home. Thanks for the input.0
