How are you going to cook the steak? How thick is it?

What vegetables to you have? What fruit?

I would say steam from fresh veggies and if you have an apple, banana, and an orange you can make a fruit salad.

For steak, if it's a new york or similar cut of meat, I usually season it with a little season salt and dash of crushed bay leaf before I broil it in the oven.

Salad is good with any beef, I think. Brown Rice, Baked sweet potato, Asparagus spears - I like to put them in a pan with a little olive oil, salt and pepper and bake until crisp tender.

Mixed vegetables, fresh green beans, sweet potato, a side of rice or couscous...

If I read correctly she has chuck steak so it would only be good for a curry or stew. Chuck steak needs long cooking.

I agree. Chuck has lots of connective tissue. Low and slow is the only way to get it tender.

You probably have supper made already but I usually make my steak on my George Foreman grill and poke some holes in a potato and microwave it and maybe some green beans, broccoli, corn, carrots, peas or some kind or mixed veggie. Fruit is also a great alternative.
