Hey, everyone!

I'm looking for a good brand of gluten-free cake, or even a recipe for a decent gluten-free cake. My boyfriend is on a gluten-free lifestyle and has a birthday coming up. I really want to make him something nice and tasty. Any suggestions?

A friend of mine at work had gluten free chocolate cake recently that they were raving about apparently it was a betty crocker packet mix one. I can ask for more details if you're interested.

    Hi!

It was called Devils Food cake mix, http://www.bettycrocker.com/products/gluten-free-baking-mixes/products/gluten-free-devils-food-cake-mix this is it on her website. If your in the UK apparently its not the easiest thing to track down, you can buy it off amazon if you have the time.

Failing that there is quite a good baking cookery book called Red Velvet and chocolate heart ache by Harry Eastwood that i think contains some very good gluten free recipies in (watch out though because not all of them are), a word of warning though they do have funny things in them like butternut squash but having tried their gluten free lemon cupcakes (which contained the squash) they were delicious and still springy and moist. The up side is they're supposed to be lower on the calories too.

    Hoe that helps.
