If for example you workout and burn say 3500calories = to 1lb weight loss, how long do you find it takes to register on the scales as 1lb lost, assuming that your calorie intake is within your daily allowance?

good question . . .I also wonder about how long it takes for a great eating day or a really poor eating day to affect the scales . . . I know it is not instantaneous0

Forget what the scale says- it can be misleading and lead to a lot of frustration down the road. Bodyweight can fluctuate depending on added muscle mass, water retention, etc. Instead, buy a tape measure and take the time to measure yourself 1-2 times per week. If you're doing things eating right, getting rest and exercising regularly, that is the one place you'll see results the fastest.0
