Losing Fat

I am at 128 and just 19 lbs from my goal weight. Any tips for making sure the last bit of weight I lose is body fat ? I really want to lose the muffin top arm flab and butt. I am still doing 40 minutes cardio and 25 toning in those areas. 5 days a week.

    Just wanted to say fabulous job! I would say make sure you are doing the toning weights along with the cardio and you should have success with that!

    Losing slowly will help ensure it is fat you are losing and not muscle. Also adding strength training and eating higher protein will also help. I would suggest you set your goal at 0.5lbs/week (1.0/week at most) as the slower you lose the more likely it is fat you will be losing.

    I would go with strength training all over, because as you probably already know-you cannot target a specific area. Strength training is the BEST way to get rid of fat. Believe it or not endurance cardio activities tend to hold on to that fat. I do curcuit training.
