Recall: Lean Cuisine Simple Favorites Spaghetti with Meatballs

Nestlé Prepared Foods Co. announced a recall of Lean Cuisine Simple Favorites Spaghetti with Meatballs, UPC 13800-10390, production code 0298595519 P. The company launched the recall after reports that some consumers found red plastic pieces in the meatball portion of the dinner.

The group of packages that fall under the recall were produced in October 2010. Consumers should check all the Lean Cuisine Simple Favorites Spaghetti with Meatballs packages in their freezers for the recalled UPC and production code, which appears on the gray "proof of purchase" panel below the ingredient statement.

If you have the recalled product, Nestlé Prepared Foods Co. advises you to contact Nestlé Consumer Services at 1-866-606-8264 or leancuisine@casupport.com for further instructions. Nestlé will provide a replacement coupon.
