New to this and need some help understanding it all

I would just like to know a few things as I use this on my iPhone app,
Where it says how many calories I have left is that daily or..? and also what happens if I don't go over it and stay under everything!? I'm new to dieting and any advise and support will help(: x

    Yes that is calories left daily.. and its best to try not to go over.. if you do dont stress.. tomorrows a new day!! Dont go to low under your goals as you dont wanna go into starvation mode.. feel free to add me!

    Hey! Congrats on starting your diet. Yes the calories where it says how many calories is what you have left for the day. If you dont go over it, then that means you loosing the amount of weight you put in that you wanted to leave. You may also be loosing a little more since your not going over your calories.
  • So say my daily goal is 1770 and at the end of the day I have 600 left is that good or bad!?

    Hi and welcome to MFP its a great site and a great app to use on the go! Your calories remaining are on a daily basis for eg I have 1290 calories to use a day I aim to meet 1200 a day and no less as it is not reccomended, there will be an occasional day where I don't meet this and thats not to good if you do it regulary your body will go into starvation mode. Any questions you have will always be answered quickly though so try not to stress about it, it appears more confusing than it is.   • Me being a thick boy and all, so atm my daily amount left is 1154 and my net is 616 but my goal is 1770, food is + 763 and exercise is - 147, what should I do now, I don't even really know what I should be eating :( and I'm about to have dinner too.
