The Climb - Day 1

so, here is the start to my new diary. it feels weird to have a clean slate again, and to actually want to start the process over. i have a meal plan set out, an exercise plan ready to go and i'm looking forward to making a full lifestyle change.
one of the things i realized from binging uncontrollably is that it's not worth it. at all. some of the time it felt like it was an out of body experience or something when i would order food and scarf it down. it's like it wasn't even me.
i felt so bad about myself that i just wanted to hole myself away and try to eat away the pain. we know where that gets us.
i'm going to climb out of this hole of depression, i'm going to climb the mountain to healthy eating and i'm going to climb my way to a positive self-image. i can do it. i have to.

You can do it. We all have days that we just binge, well I do. Yesterday was one of them and I felt awful last night. I ate chick fil a for breakfast, mcdonalds for lunch and dominos for dinner. I was so sick in the middle of the night that I swore I would NEVER do that again. I was in a funk all day. I woke up feeling quite crummy and hubby conviced me to get and go ride bikes this morning. We rode 27 miles and I feel like a new person. Exercise makes me feel so much better than eating. I need to remember that the next time I think about binging.
