Wish Me Luck

I'm leaving the USA tomorrow for a couple of weeks to visit my family in England.
(To cut a long story short, my mum is sick and scheduled for surgery. It's been a couple of years since I last saw her, so it's time for a visit.)

I won't have my phone (Verizon Droid won't work over there) and I'm not sure how easily I'll be able to access the internet from my mum & dad's place, so I may not be on MFP for a while.

I'm worried it's going to be tough to stick to my healthier lifestyle once I'm around my dad and brothers.

Good luck and I hope your mom is ok. Maybe try writing in a journal. You may not have all the calorie info but at least you have a visual of what you are eating through out the day. Have a great trip!

Good luck and best wishes for your mum. I'm sure your healthier habits will be with you even if you can't track them as strictly. . .and maybe your good example will rub off on your dad & brothers!

Print out your food diary from previous days that you did good and stayed within your goal numbers. Follow what you ate on previous days as much as you can. If you print out a week or so of previous food diary days, at least you will have some reference as to the nutritional values in the foods you choose. I wish you luck. You can do this!

Good luck! Hope your mom is ok. Good ideas here. You can also pick up a calorie king book pretty cheap that has a ton of nutrition info and write it down!

    Thanks guys!

I'm back and, despite eating and drinking more than I should've, I lost a pound.

So, now it's back to MFP every day.
