Another way to get motivated

I like the diaries and reports on MFP, but I found another way to keep track of my exercise and food that I'm finding even more visually motivating. I keep a fitness blog and I have a system of entry tags that let me see at a glance how consistent my fitness habits are. At first I was just keeping track of my workouts, but I've recently added food as well.
My exercise goal is to work out every weekday, so for every weekday I have an entry that's tagged either with "exercise log" or "no exercise." I compare the number of exercise log entries with the number of no exercise entries to see how consistent I'm being. It's motivating for me to watch the gap widen as I become better at sticking to my plan.
