I used to like them but not anymore. Soup usually has high sodium, and fills you up easily in that sitting but an hour later you're hungry again. It's basically like a thick juice...just because it's watery calories doesn't necessarily means its all that good for you!.

just a thought haha

I love soup . . . but make my own with no sodium at all. I fill it with LOTS of veggies and whatever strikes my fancy that day. I would not eat canned soup if you paid me!

I practically LIVE on home-made soup--and usually pretty thin and watery, sometimes with konjac noodles added, but often just a can of diced tomatoes plus 1 can of water, and a cup or two of spinach!

It's hot, and filling, and satisfies that "I NEED TO EAT NOW" part of my brain that hits me when I walk in the door after a long day; and then my tummy is all full of hot water and I feel like a fat tick on a dog's back, and I can eat a reasonable portion of something nummy for dinner--or not!

I hate canned soup...even the healthy choice ones...I tried them and there was no taste to it at all. My cafeteria makes this awesome tomato basil soup with spinach and penne pasta in it and it's delicious but I'm so hungry very soon after...
