My 1 Year Anniversary on MFP

March 12th was my 1 year anniversary of starting MFP and what a year it has been! I started out at 168.8 pounds - the most I have ever weighed. Over the course of this past year I have learned an immense amount about living healthy. These are some of my highlights:
- I have waaaaay more energy
- I can keep up with my boyfriend
- I've tried and enjoyed a ton of new activities
- I am more confident
- I walked a 10k and ran a 5k for the first time
- I have learned to recognize what a true portion looks like
- I enjoy working out and pushing myself
I am forever grateful to my friend who introduced me to this site. She encouraged me to try it and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I have benefited greatly from this site and from everyone who encourages me and others to keep going no matter what! I hit many long and discouraging plateaus but pushed through them and I will never, ever regret doing so.
At the end of a year, I have lost 26.8 pounds and I feel like a new person.
Thanks to you all!
