Hi. I recently joined MFP and have questions about the excercises listed..Does anyone know if MFP "adjusts" the calories burned excercising based on each individual weight, body type, etc? I am currently doing INSANITY and used the TaeBo listing as calories burned...most similar excercise I could find listed. I think it may be too high. Needing to get a HRM.....I would like a very basic yet reliable HRM.....any suggestions on brand/style/etc? Thanks!

I don't think they adjust it based on any of those factors. A good HRM would be the Polar F6 - just my opinion though, defiantly recomend getting one though. whatever brand you get make sure it has a chest strap not just the watch it is much more accurate - thats for the basic. I recently upgraded to the body bugg significatly more expensive, but soooo amazing.0

I have the Polar F11...works well! They have women's monitors which makes a difference in how they fit! I waer my watch all the time even when not exercising..everytime I see it, I remember to eat better. I would recomend getting one!0
