Hi, all.

Today I'm taking it "nearly off". . .just a walk to the grocery and back (40 minutes round trip).

    Yesterday I did an hour on the elliptical and burned over 600 calories according to my HRM - yeah! It's on my husband's settings, but he's lighter than I am - so who knows what is screwy with the stupid thing.

    I was invited to go to a mega gym today. I have to decide in the next 30 minutes if I want to drive across town and check out a gym the size of a city block. Part of me feels like I should go because I asked for the invite, yet my gym is 10 minutes away. Hopefully, I won't get a funky sales pitch. Maybe they will have a cybex (weird elliptical/stair stepper thing). I know they have a rock wall, but I think you need a partner. I really should try rock climbing again. Maybe when school is back in session and I can go to Main Event without teens running up the wall next to me.

    Good Morning! I hope you all are enjoying your weekend.

    I went to the wedding yesterday... there were several healthy options so I chose fresh fruit (without the chocolate dipping sauce), fresh veggies with a small amount of dip, two cubes of cheese, and a quarter of a chicken salad sandwich on whole wheat and I drank water. Then I had a small piece of cake. Not toooo bad, I guess.

    The cookout was cancelled so I ate a much lighter dinner.

    Agenda today...
    -Brunch with friends at a place with very healthy options
    -BL Power Sculpt DVD
    -Evening walk

    MM... you are in my thoughts. I'm so sorry about your sad news.

    Thanks for your thoughts and prayers ladies. I am doing a little better today. I plan to start working out tomorrow again. I should be ready to. It will make me feel better anyhow.
    Yesterday I did really well, until my hubby brought me an oreo mix from Braum's! YUM! I must tell you it was good to eat! He then got me a sweet tea with green apple from Sonic today (try it if you have the extra cals and a sonic near you!). He just said he needed to quit bringing stuff home like that so it won't be a problem for me.
    So I am going to go walk it off today. We're going to do a little window shopping. I may not burn much but at least it will be something. As of right now I only have two hundred cals left for the day so I need to do something. Looking forward to getting back on track tomorrow.

    A new post starts everyday... just look for Stronger, Better, Faster (or SBF) Challenge. We share what we are doing each day to meet our goals... exercise, food, water, etc.
