What are you suggestions for the slim in 6 series by beach b

I am currently doing the Slim in six ( I am on the ramp it up phase) I got up this morning and did the slim and limber and ramp it up. How much should I work out per day and when should I incorporate the abs routine dvd. Also, I have access to the gym, should I be doing extra cardio, strength training, etc??? My current weight is 187, I am 5'7" and 37 years old. Also, I have been reading and I am getting concerned that my 1200 calorie diet may not be supplying my body with the energy I need.... any thoughts are appreciated !
