I have every size ranging from size 8 -18

This spring when I put away my winter clothes I hope to never again have to pull out the size 18's!!!!

This winter my fiancé almost had me convinced to get rid of all my small summer clothes, boy am I glad I held firm because this summer I should fit back into some of them :-)

I only have 2 sizes left now . . . some 12's that are baggy and my newer size 10's that Im now fitting into. I have donated ALL of my big clothes as they got to large to wear . . . . because I am NEVER going back there.
It has freed up a lot of space for shopping however . . . . .

My sizes range from 6-10, I have this dress that I've never worn before (size 6) that I hope to be able to get into in time for my 10 year high school reunion.

I still kept some of my size 5s. But just because I only wore them a few months & couldn't bare to part with them. I threw out all my size 8 -18s when I lost all the weight 5 years ago, & am now slowing buying a size up every few months. Back up to size 14s - which brought me to this website :( I hope this is the last time.

I say Donate the big clothes to the local charity or red cross.
--more incentive not to gain that weight back.

Also, it frees up space in your home!
  • I have SOOO many. I laughed so hard at this post. Because I was just thinking about it the other day when I was looking for a pair of pants. I was like..why did I keep these? Glad I did tho, because they should fit me soon. I still even have a pair of pregnancy pants in there from last year. BUT I think those your allowed to keep. Damn things are expensive haha.

    UK sizes...
10-14 mainly, with the odd smaller or bigger size that must have been made funny! I wish they did middle sizes over here like an 11 and 13!

I have about 3 sizes in my closet, but I sell clothing on Ebay so I have my pick of clothing. LOL...When I lose weight I just go shopping in my basement. I have about 800 pieces of clothing to chose from provided I can fit them. LOL I need to clean out my personal closet though.

I have size 12-14, I just gave away all my 16-20 sizes to Goodwill (and I am giving away most of my 14 pants as well) as they were all too big.

I mostly have 16-24. The smaller stuff is not even necessarily anything I'll want to wear again, just stuff I'll use to see if I fit those sizes again. The 24s are too big, but some of the shirts look OK too big. Right now I'm between 20 and 22.

Between the husband and I we gave 10 bags of clothes to goodwill this weekend! We now each have 2 sizes of jeans, ones we can wear now and ones that we are close to wearing. Now I have no choice but to keep going!

I have a lot of sizes ranging from 6, 7, 8, 10 and 12's. Currently my 10's are getting big but I'm not small enough to get in my 8's yet. Won't be much longer though:) So glad I kept my skinny clothes this time:)

OMG... I used to have everything from 8 - 18, but I got rid of my "smaller" ones (donated all the 8's and 10's) thinking I'll never fit into those. Shame on me! I'm now in a 16, and hope to be down to a single digit size someday (maybe an 8 again? Or who knows... maybe even a 6 or 4!). It's a looooong journey. At least I've got part of the wardrobe to clothe me along the way. LOL!!

Glad to hear I'm not alone!

Probably 3. I have a few junior XL dresses that don't really fit anymore (too big!), some 11/12 skirts, most of my shirts are M or L...

I only have clothes in my closet that fit me now (mostly). I don't like it because they are still big. Large, XL, 14 - 18. There are however, a lot of clothes stored away in boxes that I used to wear when I was smaller, and some that I have never been small enough to wear. I know that I will not need to spend money when I get smaller, unless I get to a 6 (which I don't know if it is possible).

I do find that it is nice to be able to put on almost everything in my closet.

I have 9 - 22. I've picked things up at sales hoping they'd inspire me, and it never worked.

The 22s - I cried when I had to buy those. They probably inspired me to get on the weight loss train more than the skinny clothes.

I gave away my 18's and 16's as soon as I shrunk out of them, and kept doing the same all the way down. There have been times that my clothes have been a bit tight, but I am so cheap, I always manage to shrink back down instead of buying bigger sizes!

Right now, pretty much everything I have is a 4 or a 6, but it's only because of the difference in brands (Ann Taylor sizes things bigger than other brands, bless her heart -- that's the only store where I can buy a 4). Actually, now that I think of it, I have a random pair of jeans that's a 10, but I swear it fits the same as the others! Isn't that weird?!

I had a pair of size 2 jeans in my closet for awhile, to act as inspiration. But I have realized that I think my frame would look weird at that size, so I passed them along to a teeny friend. =)

I have 4 pairs of size 10 pants which is what I wear and 2 pairs of size 12 which are loose but I can wear and then a few pairs of 14's that I really need to get out of there because they fall off me! Can't wait to start shopping for summer clothes and thinking they might be a size 8!!!!

I have sizes ranging from 10-20. However, all the 18-20 clothes are in a bag to be given to a charity. I am comfortably in a 16 and can squeeze into a couple 14s. So excited to be clearing out my closet!

Jeans size 20, 10, 6, 4, and 2. I got rid of some of the in-between sizes but kept those 20's as a reminder, lol

I did keep one pair of my largest jeans as a way of looking back and sometimes I try them on to laugh that I can now fit into one leg! I find this easier to wrap my mind around the body image thing than looking in the mirror.

I keep only 2 sizes. The one that is newly fitting into as I'm going down, and the size that's a little baggy but still able to wear to work. As I buy the next smaller size, the bigger goes out the same day to donate. I keep nothing as I'm not going back there.

I tell myself that weight gain is not an option as I am not buying a larger size so weight gain = naked LOL!

Tops: 2XL down to size 14 (boobs are too big for anything smaller, even when I'm "skinny me")
Bottoms: size 22 through 12 jeans

Although I've purged the closet pretty well, I kept several "fat chick" tops that I either sleep in or dress up with a belt or accessories. I kept the jeans in the whole range of sizes and a reminder of where I've been and the journey that got me where I am. So the big ones are stacked and labeled on the top shelf of my closet.
