I find I work harder at home. get yourself a selection of cheap DVDs to start, something aerobic, something strength, something flexibility and rotate them every day. when you're feeling more powerful invest your time in a beach-body workout, that'll give you 3 months of exercise and a clear goal.
get on it

Walking--rain or shine, and trying to add a bit of jogging has been my exercise of choice. Lost 40 lbs in time for my 40th birthday and kept it off. It really does work. Just remember to track your time since that is how myfitnesspal logs exercise.0

Hi Julie!
I have a couple of home gym pieces, and some DVDs but I work from home and during the day is like an office setting for me.
I could run down to the gym machines and pound something out (which I do almost everyday) but:
I also do all those things you remember from gym class right by my desk:
Planks, crunches, push ups, lunges, Jump-n-jacks
I also do Isometrics and use resistance bands at my desk
Also 'dork dancing' burns some calories too. "Just take those old records off the shelf, I like to listen to them by myself " and rock out around the house.
Walking up and down the stairs. Walking outside around the yard or neighborhood.
Wall squats.
Anything you can think of that doesn't involve sitting on the couch is going to be better for you and it's all free.
