i don't want to eat. I have over 600 calories left for the day and that's with dinner planned in....

Just remember - Food is fuel, you need it to keep up your energy. EAT THE WHOLE chocolate cake! Just kidding, come on girl, chin up! you can do this!! 600 calories is alot but start with some almonds and milk - they add up fast and are soo good for you. Even if you can cut that in half you will be better off...
What is going on today that you don't want to eat? What are you making the chocolate cake for?0 -

Im sick still and can't taste or smell anything....and drainage. Yuck
I will try to slip in a few high calorie snacks before i call it a day0 -
I don't understand it: I am sick today. I am in bad and sleeping all day. That is first time in like 5 years, so don't envy me :sick: I woke up once at 12 pm and had a cup of homemade chicken broth with a pice of boiled chicken breast. Woke up second time around 6 pm and had the same thing but this time with whole wheat bread and a few cloves of garlic (to fight the bugs). Both times I had 2 cups of water. And I am already at 1100 cals!!!!!!

The cake was good (everyone told me....since i didn't taste it). My sister in law has a WW one that uses spice cake mix and 1/2 cup water (like you did with the yogurt) + pumpkin.0 -
I kinda understand how you're feeling...sometimes I get thoughts in my head where I actually dread eating...I feel like if I have that 600 calorie deficit and don't eat it, then I'll get to my goal faster. LIke if I hit that button on my home page of MFP it tells you how long it will take to get to your goal if each day is like this one...Perhaps don't eat all 600, but something small that will take care of half. Just because I feel like I'm starving (which is way unhealthy) doesn't mean I will lose the weight any faster. I know how it feels to have your mind tell you not to eat...it's a bad trap to get into. I've struggled with an eating disorder in the past where my mind would tell me to eat eat eat and I would just get rid of it. ( I know it's gross but it's the truth.) I must say, counting these calories and eating them is way less lonely and I know others on this site have probably done what I have to try to lose a little weight (or a lot). It's so painful, but this site is helping me and I hope you don't fall into any unhealthy mind traps!0

HAHA! I did it....kinda had to force the issue though....
Thank heaven for air popped popcorn, yum-yum muffins, and skim milk
i am feelin a bit better still no taste or smell though. :sad:
