New to the website :)

Hello everyone. I just joined the website yesterday. :) Weight has always been an issue for me ever since about the 5th grade after I fractured my knee. Ever since i graduated high school in '97 my weight has fluctuated up and down, but now it just seems to be on the up and up. I'm 5'3" and at my current weight i look like a beach ball with legs! I am doing everything i can to get my weight under control again. This is the heaviest i've been in my 31 years and I really really dont like it. So here I am. Any suggestions or pointers/tips would be greatly appreciated! Feel free to add me as a friend on here as I am sure i'm going to need a lot of support to get me back down to my desired weight of 135 lbs. 90 lbs is not going to be an easy task to achieve! Also if any of you are from the Wichita, KS area let me know. Maybe we can schedule a workout date or something. I know it's always easier to exercise when you have someone there with you. :)

    Welcome! Best of luck on your journey....as for tips?? I guess my biggest items would be "If you bite it, write it" (Log your food) and make changes you can live with long term if you want to keep the weight off forever....crash diets always end badly .
