more calories..

I plan out my meals and I usually have more calories left than carbs to use for dinner and a snack. For example, I would have like 500 calories left, but only 15-25 carbs, after I have eaten breakfast, lunch, and a snack. I eat 55% of my calories from carbs, and I did want to change that to 50% over time. What foods have a higher amount of calories than carbs, and are still healthy?

    Nuts, low fat yogurt, low fat cottage cheese, deli meat, olives, most green vegetables are relatively low carbs (be careful of peas but try asparagus, green beans, green peppers, soybeans, cucumbers) . . .

    If you are needing calories, you could even add in some cheese . . .
