Is my HRM right?!? When I type in 'Aerobics High Impact' for Zumba it states I only burn 200 something cals. I wore the HRM tonight for Zumba and it registered 471 cals. I logged it in the exercise diary, but I am wondering if it is correct. One other thing, my average heart rate through the class was at 140. Just wondering if that made the difference?

You HRM is most effective for cals burned ... if your wearing a chest strap also its even more accurate!! Great burn!! WTG!0

Yes! MFP only gives me 200 and something for circuit training, where as while doing the 30 day shred I usually burn in excess of 300.0

The amount of calories you burn has to do with your weight & how hard you are pushing yourself but you HRM is right! great Burn!0
