For the moms who have lost weight...
From where I started, I'll have needed to lose 100 pounds. I've lost about 25 pounds, and am starting to wonder -
I've had 2 kids, and gained between 20-30 lbs each pregnancy, and no I didn't lose all my weight from #1 before getting pregnant with #2.
SO, for the mommys who have had to lose alot of weight after babies - do you ever get rid of your baby pouch?? (I'm 25 - so I'm hoping my skin is still fairly elastic)

my doc says don't expect your body to get totally rid of it until your baby is 2! she is a mom of 6 and looks fabulous. my youngest is 5.5 months, so i'm still sporting the pooch... and i think i had one before kids, that is just where my weight hangs out... right now it is loose skin and that is almost worse... gotta work on toning... good luck!0

I think it depends on how elastic your skin was originally. My skin has never been very elastic...and looking at my Mom after 3 kids I know why. I will always have the sag and stretch marks...I think it is what you are born with...good genetics or bad.0

you sound exactly like me lol (I'll even be 25 soon) anyways my weight is coming off but my tummy still looks weird I doubt I will ever want to show it off, I feel like I should be satisfied that it's not as big any more but sometimes I look down and I wonder why bother.. Sorry for being depressing lol. Good luck with your journey!0

I agree, my co-worker and I have been working at loosing weight for the last year and I was joking to her that after 30 lbs I am not getting thinner, my belly is just getting lower
I have only had 2 kids, but the first one killed my stomach, I have zero skin elasticity because at just 12 weeks I was already getting stretch marks.

So, this is coming from a mom of 4.... my last 3 were all C-sections and in 5 yrs! So I will only be rid of my pooch with surgical intervention. I will of course tightan and shrink it, but the extra skin will not just go away! I gained 70lbs with my last child and now have gotten within 5lbs of my prepreg weight and 20 from goal!
Once u meet goal, u can reasses your body!0
