A new week! I filled in my challenge sheet last week; I hope I can do it this week as well!
Yesterday I brought my butt to the friend's mega gym. I could tell she wanted me to join (she showed me around), but of course, that would be silly. It was nice having a workout buddy. I wish I could get her to join my gym as there is one in her neighborhood. Oh well. Got to workout on the cybex - average HR in the 160s - and did 20 minutes of weights.
Can't decide what I'm going to do today. I'm a little sore and feel like I need a day off; however, there are only two weights classes I can go to this week and one of them is today. I have another dentist appointment this afternoon, so I'll be taking it easy after that.

Im back from my family visit 11lbs heavier :grumble: hahaha im so excited because today I am going to the mail to see if my HRM is in!!! YAAAAAAAAAAAAY!! I plan on going for a bike ride and hope to keep up my exercise all week long.0

Hello to the rest of the ladies! I hope you all are doing well this morning! I'm doing better except that I am really super dizzy this morning. We ate a late breakfast so I am going to see if I feel better after that settles some. I have some cleaning and laundry to do today. I am going to do 45-60 minutes of Taebo as long as I can stand up to do it.
Last night hubby and I went roller blading in the school parking lot across the street. I was pushing my son in the stroller which is my excuse for going slower and for support. We skated for 25 minutes and burned over 300 calories. I am going to have to incorporate that in my work outs for the week! I used to do it a lot but we moved and the park nearby doesn't allow wheels of any kind and the streets and sidewalks are not smooth enough. I am learning to do things that burn the most calories in the least amount of time. Lol. Hubby wants to roller blade every night. He has suddenly taken an interest in exercise. It's amazing. He started doing push ups because a friend said he had to start doing push ups to prepare him for learning Tae Kwon Do. Now he's doing sit ups too I think as well as roller blading! I'm impressed! I just have to keep up now!
I'd better get to it. I've goofed off already too much this morning.

Hi, ladies!
I'm switching my schedule this week, so that I can start going to an evening spin class at the new gym tomorrow. (the only drawback at the new gym: way fewer spin classes offered).
So today is Yoga at 5:30.
I had an "incident" last night involving tortilla chips and cheddar cheese and the microwave that put me about 300 calories over my maintenance calories. This was compounded by the fact that I took no structured exercise yesterday, and it's my special lady time. Also, I am amazed that exercise seems to be a powerful appetite suppressant for me. Maybe I'm more anxious/bored when I don't have the energy exertion of working out and I self-medicate with eating.
Today is water, vits and no further "incidents."

Happy Monday all! Boredom has set in yet again. I decided to dust off the Turbo Jam Cardio and actually enjoyed it. I think I'll stick with that for a bit. Nothing else really scheduled for today except the playground this afternoon.
