Calling all congential hearts!

I don't know how many people on MFP are congenital heart patients. There aren't many of us, so we need to stick together.
I'm having a hard time finding exercises that work for me. I have asthma and vigorous activity makes me feel awful, like my heart is acting up. I've had stress tests, and my doctor told me there's nothing unusual going on, even when I feel like heck. He said I should just do whatever I am able to do.
That's the problem. I find a new activity/workout I want to try, I go try it, then my asthma kicks in, my heart does crazy things, I'm in pain, and I quit. It's really frustrating! Right now my best activities are power walking and yoga. Running is out of the question. (People do that for fun?) So to the other congential heart people out there, what types of exercises work for you? How do you get over the frustration of being unable to do what is easy for everyone else?
PS: please don't feel obligated to share details about yourself, like name, age, CHD diagnosis, etc.
