I am taking pre reqs for the nursing program and we all know how time consuming that can be. I wanted to know if the work load has/is taking a toll on your workout and eating right lifestyle. Like do you find it hard to get to the gym etc?

I was a nursing student 6 years ago, and holy cow did I pack on the pounds! Thank God for busy 12hour shifts after you graduate, or I would have been 400lbs probably!

My weight has ranged 30 pounds, give or take while in school. I know it's drastic, but nursing school is very time consuming and horribly stressful. I have found that taking lecture notes to the gym helps a little to cut time corners and usually improves the grade for my tests. But when it comes to the paperwork, there is nothing you can do. I tried everything, but have not been successful with balancing the school, work, and work out loads. I'm curious to see other replies.

I'm Pre-Med and it definitely is challenging sometimes to get in workouts and eat right with all of the schoolwork I have. I pretty much LIVE in my schools library. It's gotten easier, scheduling and planing out your entire day in advance will be your best friend. Its tough, but you can do it! Best of luck!!!
