Anyone in the Philly area doing the SGK Race 4 the Cure?

Hi, I'm in Jersey and was looking into doing the SGK Race for the Cure 5k this year. I wasn't sure if anyone else out there was also interested, or had done it in the past, and could give me more info.
I am still undecided about doing it. It takes place on baby's 1st b-day. And the monetary cost, while definately going to a more than worthy cause, is going to be a tight squeeze for my budget right now. But it is a goal of mine to complete my first 5k by the end of this year, and I would really like to support such a great endeavor.
Unfortunately, I know nothing about how it works, and would appreciate any info you guys could provide. Thanks! :)
