I just joined the site and am looking forward to trying it. I started a weight training/loss program New Year's Day and seem to have hit a plateau with 10 pounds to go.

I've succesfully incorporated more fruits and vegetables in my diet but haven't tried calorie counting yet. I was hoping to be able to accomplish my goals more through physical fitness, not wanting to give up ice cream and cake.

I'm hoping counting calories with this site will help get me through the plateau.

You don't have to give up anything... just have to eat less of it lol. I didn't think that i could do it but it is so easy and this site has a wonderful support system!!!!

Absolutely! It's all about smaller portions and self control. If you deprive yourself completely, then once you can have it again, you will probably over-indulge.

    Best of luck!

Exercise calories are awesome!! You can make excellent choices on eating throughout the day, hit the exercise mat/gym/video, and earn yourself a 'little' reward. Everything in moderation and it's easy to keep track of it all with the tools on here!
  • Thanks everyone, I appreciate the tips!
