Organic Girl Romaine Mix Salad... omg EWW

i purchased this salad today cause i always wanted to try it. it has pretty packaging and claims to have been washed 3x so you don't have to. i took the first bite of the salad and notice this bitter, limey taste an then started digging around the leaves for the culpret. i found it to be this four leaf clover long looking thing and i ended up picking it all out! what do you guys thing this was? has anyone else ate this and liked it? i'm almost wondering if it was a mint leaf? i wanna gag thinking about eating it. just... bad.

oh and then after that, i heard my puppy chewing on the couch so i grabbed some bitter yuck to spray and it turns out i got it on my hand, then picked up my egg sandwich. what an appetite killer. i am NOT having a good food day!

I've never had their romaine mix, but I love their 50/50 and spring mix. Maybe it was bad romaine? I'm sorry it was so bad!

Always always wash it no matter what the packaging says...at the very least, adding some water plumps up the lettuce and makes it taste better.

It was probably some sort of bitter greens. It's an acquired taste but I love it, especially with goat cheese, chopped oranges and sesame vinaigrette!

I've never had their romaine mix, but I love their 50/50 and spring mix. Maybe it was bad romaine? I'm sorry it was so bad!

i did en up getting the spring mix as well and i'm hopeful it's better!

was it herb baby romaine mix?
baby green romaine lettuce, baby red romaine lettuce, lolla rosa, parsley, cilantro, baby greenleaf lettuce
I've never heard of lolla rosa
cilantro tastes like soap to me :sick:

Do you still have the bag? It should have what was in the mix on the packaging.

Then I bet it was cilantro. Which is kind of a soapy taste to it. I freaking love fresh cilantro. So send me your cilantro. LOL
