I don't feel very well and I really just want to go home after work and just veg. Will someone please tell me how much better I will feel if I go for a bike ride when I get home?

i know how you feel. I come home from work get dinner on and i don't feellike moving but i keep thinking about my goals and letting myself down. so i just say a short ride then once i get out there i am so relaxed that idon't wanna come home.....
SO GO AND ENJOY YOURSELF. You will thank yourself later.

I have days all the time where I think all day I don’t want to exercise, but I always make myself do it and so far I haven’t regretted it. I know what really helps me is that I do exercises that I enjoy so it isn’t like work or something I have to do and can’t wait for it to be over. The other thing that helps me is one of my closest friends does the exercises with me and like another MFPer said “we solve the world’s problems while we are exercising”. For us we enjoy our exercise, it gets us out of the house and we can get all of our gripes out for the day. So you can say exercise is a stress reliever too. I hope this helps you! WOW! I work from home and have been on vacation. I got up from my computer and said..."hmmm, think I will take a nap". Then my elipptical machine yelled "WHAT, I havent been used in a week!"
So I jumped on and listened to some music, busted that bad boy for 30 minutes. Guess what?

I DID IT!!!! I went for a 30 minute bike ride, and I even took a new route which was KILLER. In the car it doesn't seem like there are hills, but on a bike, man. I thought my legs were going to give out. That one incline must have been about a quarter mile or more long. I feel icky and sweaty but I do feel better and I am SO happy I went. And even more happy that I have more calories to eat! THANKS FOR THE SUPPORT EVERYONE!0
