I want a success story!

I love reading all the success stories and looking at pictures, but I want one for myself! I'm stressing out about how many calories to eat each day, worrying that I'm not getting enough exercise, ect., so I'm on MFP all the time reading all the message boards and seeing what other people are doing! If I worked out half the time I spent on the computer, then maybe I would be a success.
Well, spring is pretty much here and I want to have fun, cute spring-y and summer clothes. So, it's time to buckle down and become my own success. I don't have much to lose, about 5 pounds and want to tone up. I have a goal date of May 1st, plus I am going to run a 5 mile race that day, too. This will be my first 5-miler! I thought that would be a good goal date, and if I accomplish my goal & finish my run, then I will reward myself w/ a new outfit!
I'm hoping that putting this out there for others to read, that it will hold me a bit more accountable to my goal date! Anyone out there willing to check on me every few days to see how I'm doing? I think that would help me out alot!
Here's to all of our future success stories!

You can totally do it! Having the 5 mile race to keep you motivated is a really good idea. Maybe you can give yourself a rule, such as you can only read the boards for 20 minutes and then you have to go stretch or do sit-ups or other home workouts to earn the time to read MFP again.
Feel free to friend me if you want another buddy! I really enjoy reading what my other MFP pals say on the homepage, it keeps me motivated.0
