Replacement for mascarpone

Hi, I've got a favorite recipe - gnocchi with a creamy tomato and spinach sauce.

However it uses 160g of mascarpone to make the creamy bit! Is there anything that I could use to get the same creaminess with less calories and fat? I don't want to alter the taste too much as it's a family favorite.

    Lowfat cream cheese mixed with a little fat-free sour cream. There are appropriate proportions out there for a proper substitution often recommended in full fat versions. Just substitute low calorie/fat ingredients here. Nothing is perfect, but it gets pretty close. Good luck!
