yay!! My new bra arrived!!! And it fits!! I am officially a 32GG and although I would have hoped for a smaller cup size with the weight loss, I have always been a boobie gal and so although I lost weight, I still kept the bazookas :blushing: .
I find that a good fitting bra makes SUCH a difference to how your clothes look and fit. What do you other weight losing ladies think? Have you lost the 'girls'? have you changed size etc?

  • I actually hope my boobs stay behind lol. I know they won't though. When I was thinner I was a 36C so its likely I'll be that size again. Right now I'm a 42D.

I'm currently in a 38DD...boy oh boy do I hope I can at least get back down to my 34D (but I'm not holding my breath). Being able to wear shirts that fit nicely on my boosums, but aren't snug on my tummy as well...that is the goal =)

I want these things gone!! I was so large that I had a breast reduction and after I had my 5 children these suckers have grown to DDD and I hate them. I want to go back to the size I had before the kids which was a small C. I know my hubby won't like it but my back & shoulders sure will. Plus i want to be able to wear strapless bras and shirts without having to wear a darn harness to keep these bad boys up.

Sadder for daddy! But good work.

I was overflowing a 36 DDD (european F) and on the last hooks. Now I'm comfortably in and on the first hooks. I'd be happy to get back to a B or C but that may not happen.
  • my neice went from a GG to a DD by doing crossfit and paleo diet... didn't thnk that was possible

Erm when I lost the first 30+ pounds before joining MFP I was an E but my waistband of 32 didn't change, lol
went down to a DD cup,and have stayed at that since,I still have another 30 to go so I have no clue, would like to settle at a B/C cup though, the boobs do get annoying on the treadmill, even with two exercise bra's but thats another story lol
  • They were actually the first to go :(

    I was a 42 DD

    and now I am a 38-40 c-D
  • I've gone from contemplating buying a 36E because my bras just weren't fitting any more to being able to wear them on the second hook ^_^ It's great!

I was happy mine decided to go! Had to much :)
  • started with 38DDD and it took forever b/c I've always been well endowed. but I'm happy to report that I'm down to a 36DD (almost a D now thank the lord!)

My goal is to be a C cup when this is all said and done so that i can buy shirts that fit properly. Waist is small, boobs are big. that makes shopping VERY difficult in the blouse dept!

I'm hoping mine will go down to ... they were a generous 36 DD/E at the start of this and although my bras are a bit looser don't think they have shrunk too much! When I have lost weight before they barely shrink. Would love to have B or a C cup really, and not feel that I look tarty in anything too low cut! But hey if they don't they don't!

You gotta know when you post a thread with this title, I've gotta check it out.
  • Mine have def taken a beating.. I started out at a 40DD. Now I wear 36D and 36DD... depends on the type and brand.. So really my cup size didn't change. My issue? They might still fill out the bra, but take the bra off and they hit the floor!! (well, not really, but you get my point!) How is it that losing the weight has made them sooo saggy, but I'm still pretty much in the same cup? I don't get it! I'd rather have a 40DD with firm breasts than a 36DD and saggy! (BTW that's with a 130 pound loss)

ah Cloud_Dancer from what I understand from the ladies in the know at Bravissimo (my bra comes from there, us ladies with a larger chest don't get to shop on the high street) That a DD in a 40 is NOT the same as a DD in a 36. The back size (the 40 and 36 bit) makes a difference to the actually size of the cup. The letters are to denote a size difference in the cup to the band, they are not the same cup size in all bands. For instance a 36 D CUP is NOT the same as a 38 D CUP, the Cup is smaller, but the size difference between the back band and the cup size is the same.

Does that make sense? It did when the lady explained it to me....

I am a hefty boob lady, was a 40HH before, but most of that was because i was carrying too much fat, now it is just boob.

Went from a 34C to a 34B. I could really use a 32, but they're kind of hard to find. I would rather be fit and flat though, so I don't really mind

My boobs are the one good thing about gaining weight and are the only thing I'll miss when I lose it again. Am currently a 36DD and not looking forward to being a 34A/B again :-(

    LOL

I've gone down about a size. I was really hoping for more. They never have cute bras in the bigger sizes or bikini tops for that matter! I'm hoping the next 10 lbs makes them shrink a little more. Fingers crossed!

I know what you mean. Im a 36C now.. and have been that for a long time. .. but when I was in highschool they sure did look purrddyy. :P But they worked for a living (breast fed 3 kids) and survived so many obstacles (weight gain and loss).. they are now tired (saggier) and living in retirements (push up bra)

I think if you stregnth the chest muscles they are suppose to lift a bit
