calories today or tomorrow

So say I went out dancing on st patricks night at 1130 and danced until 230 am and then got food afterwatd. What day would you log that under?

You danced and ate before going to sleep. I'm no expert, but I think that, for weight loss and control that it makes sense for a day to be from wake up to wake up. As long as you're consistant, I'm not sure it matters.0

I don't know the answer... I can only tell you what I do.
I work a lot of night shifts, so I log all food and exercise before I go to sleep, as one day, and anything after I sleep, as the next day...

I would agree with this; if it's before bed, it belongs with the previous day0 -
It shouldn't matter, since your net calories over time will be the same either way. Personally, I end the day when I go to sleep for purposes of logging my work hours as well as for logging stuff like this.0
