I started today, I didn't think it was to bad :) my knee started hurting so it was hard to bend down for squats. Has anyone done or is doing this particular shred? How are the results?

I am in the process.....was sore everyday, took a day off but will do it tonite. I do not think I will do it everyday tho, I miss my cardio workout on the treadmill!

I will be starting 30 day Shred tomorrow and I plan on using weights =)
I was actually thinking about doing 30day shred everyday and adding treadmill/cardio 4-5x a week just to add extra and some more variety.
I look forward to hearing about your progress at the end of all this =)
  • I've done the shred with 3lbs weights, make sure you are doing the moves properly IE don't let you knee go over your toes, it will hurt your knees. I've been doing it off and on for a month (just started ripped in 30 which is an updated version of the shred but harder) and my knees rarely hurt. Even when I was 15lbs heavier. Just ease into it, don't go all out on your first week, it's ok to do the "easier" moves to start.
I will say, I've seen some great rewards from doing it, upper abdominal muscles are present, my legs look great (reduced some cellulite on the back of my thighs), and my arms are thinner.

I just finished it last night. Results weren't significant but I did lose a few lbs and I fell way stronger. This only happened with other cardio workouts that I did though. I would suggest mixing it up with other workouts. Good luck!
  • today was my 2nd day and my thighs and across my shoulders are soooo sore but its a soreness I will take because I know it means I am getting healthier!!
