I just want to share with all the newbies starting out to have faith, stick to it, and realize that 10 lbs off your body will really make a difference. I loved reading all the success stories but when alot of them are 40+ lbs lost, at times it seemed such a huge goal to achieve.

I have lost 13 lbs in 2 months and I'm here to tell you that even that amount off your body makes a HUGE difference. My pants that I kidded myself looked OK now fit the right way. My rings can come off and on without soaping them up. My energy is soaring and I feel such power in my own abilities. I have also met new friends at the gym- an added plus.

So, when you are discouraged that you've only lost 8 lbs so far, pick up a gallon of milk and realize that you have lost that much! When you only lose a pound a week, think of 4 sticks of butter gone. MFP has been awsome to use and I wanted to pay it forward....keep going, even a little loss is a LOSS!!

    GREAT JOB!

To anyone NOT feeling a difference at 10 lbs., don't be discouraged. I am at -26 and can only JUST NOW say that my clothes are fitting right. It all depends on your body and start and goal weights. Stick with it and you WILL get there! :D

This is fabulous news! I was beginning to think that we ladies over 40 yrs. would have a more difficult time losing the excess. But you are proof it can be done!
