Ab Doer Twist -- any good?

I just watched an info ad on the Ab Doer Twist, and was almost coaxed into ordering one! Does this thing really work? Is it okay for the back? Anyone out there own one?

From my understanding, it's as good as any other gym machine. As the name implies, Ab doer is going to focus on strengthening abs, but those are fairly easy to train without a machine. If you're looking to lose weight, it doesn't matter which machine you use since fat is burned equally throughout your body.

In other words, if you want defined abs -- it's overpriced. If you want to lose weight -- also overpriced. Not worth buying in my opinion!

For most people the best things for your abs are a healthy diet, and cardio. Working your muscles will help too, by increasing your metabolism. Squats, and deadlifts will help with fat loss better than most ab exercises. Once your bodyfat is down your abs will magically appear.
