I know this has been done before but let's do it again!

I cook at home most of the time so I've got the meals down...but I'm looking for more snack variety (especially while I'm at work! I've been trying to eat about 6 meals a day).

What are some of your favorite healthy snacky-snacks?

(Also, include some of your main cooking items too, if you want!)

edit: left out some stuff. d'oh!

For in between means- Greek yogurt, hummus, whole wheat pita, plain almond milk, reduced sodium rice cakes....I don't really buy "snacks" outside of that. If I ever eat snacks it is when I am away from home and famished for whatever reason and then (if being healthy) I"ll try to go for mixed nuts, roasted almonds, or a healthy fruit and nut bar. Sometimes I am weak and buy a cookie or something. :)

I always make sure I have:

    Whole grain crackers
Fruits (strawberries, oranges, apples, bananas, grapes)
    Goat cheese
Veggies (broccoli, swiss chard, baby spinach, zucchini, frozen peas, bell peppers)
    Low fat string cheese
    Cold cuts (Salami, turkey, ham)
    Low fat cream cheese
    Natural peanut butter
    Pistachios (unsalted)
    Egg whites
    Protein powder
    Low carb tortillas
    Whole wheat english muffins
    Salsa
    Greek yogurt, nonfat
BEANS. I've been buying a lot of canned, no salt added kidney, pinto, black, garbanzo, navy, etc, beans and they are great to add quick and easy fiber and protein to any meal.

There's more, but this is all I can think of right now! Mostly that stuff is great for snacks, combine and chow.

Pistacchios, hummus, low-fat tortillas, Meijer Naturals Salsa, Cuties(clemintines, I think), Laughing Cow, Baby Bell Cheese, Kashi Whole Wheat garlic crakers. I can't wait until summer. Then it will be strawberries and blueberries. I didn't like blueberries fresh before, but now that I buy organic, they are delicious. Same with the straweberries. They are sweeter. Year round I have frozen berries in the freezer.

Oh, and Cottage cheese, greek yogurt. Taste them all until you find one you like. Try different brands and flavors. I don't like all of them.

For the baking supplies, I get whole wheat flour, and whole wheat white flour. Canola Oil, Olive Oil, butter(never margarine, so sometimes I need butter) applesauc to replace the oil. These are things you will always find at my house. Oh, and flax seed. I add it to various baked goods, or into smoothies.
