yard work ?

while on my way for a run, I got derailed to cut all the hedges, by hand, four huge rows or 'em....after I did some upper body weights.....can you say lead arms?

I was at it about an hour...and now I'm dizzy lol....any idea how much that would burn....or even better does anyone have that site that has all those cals burned w/ activities....like ya know...cutting hedges...lol

    I think caloriesperhour.com has a ton of different activities on it. I'm not sure how accurate the site is though. I usually feel that the number comes up higher than I think it should, but check it out and see what you think!

    thanks girl....I just checked said almost 300 cals....hmm I'll go down a bit just incase....but I am sweating still LOL....and dizzy....but I think that's just me LMBO

    Hedge trimming totally targets the back of the arm fat. When I do it I am sore for a couple of days. Whenever I log any yard work I just type in gardening-although hedge trimming is much more vigorous than pulling weeds. I bet your hedges look fantastic!

    LOL, It might be right, I used it for taebo once and it said I burned 900 cals, but with the dvd I used I didn't even break a sweat, so I dunno. Hey you burned some cals and now your hedges probably look all nice and neat....I made my husband do my weeding the other day....I wonder how many calories I burnt watching him:laugh: :laugh:

    LOL...cool thanks that's just where I'd like to target...and get the heck rid off...lol back or arm fat..be gone! lol....the hedges do look good actually .....its so funny I was thinking as I did the two big bushes near my front door...yes those too LOL....I wonder how hard it would be to cut out a cool shape or animal like at disney LOL....ya then I realized the sun was getting to me....:laugh:

    lmbo...well pj that would depend....were you laughing at him, while sipping on a nice cold drink...because then you'd need to up your cals burned....tee hee..poor hubby....um is he busy? :laugh:
