I do not want to discourage anyone from getting help on this site; however, there are alot of questions that are answered under the HELP link at the top of each page.

If you aren't able to locate the answer there, do a SEARCH on the boards before posting your question. The search button is located just above any forum post. There is a very good chance that someone has already asked that question and multiple responses are available to you immediately.

The boards are full of posts about the same topics, which is great because you can usually find an instantaneous answer to any question if you just do a little research! Also, check the pinned topics at the top of each board, there may be some great information there that will save you time in the long run.

Again, I don't want to discourage you but using the tools available can make for a much more effective experience on the MFP site! Good luck to all!

Thank you, from a fellow MFP user that is having trouble weeding through all the duplicate topics!

  • Great advice! I see a lot of the same questions getting asked over and over - I was guilty of it myself :embarassed: One question didn't get answered for me, so I did a search - and it answered my question, plus some I would have come up with later.:flowerforyou:

seems like a bit of a petty thing to get annoyed about. I don't mind duplicate topics. Rather that than people feel unable to ask questions in case they get criticised.
