How do carbs affect my fat loss?

One of the key ways to ensure that the body burns fat and doesn't store fat, is to keep your blood sugar level. One of the best ways to do this is by making sure you eat a protein with carbs. The simpler the carbs such as sugar/honey/fruit juice/processed breads all convert to sugar very fast and can cause the blood sugar to spike. When this happens the body releases insulin which drives the sugar levels back to normal and in the process stores some of those sugar calories as FAT. IF you eat some protein with those same carbs the protein inhibits the absorption process and lessens the insulin release. That is why in order to get lean, amongst other things, you must reduce your carb intake and increase protein, especially if you are exercising.
So, by managing WHAT you eat, HOW OFTEN you eat and make sure you EAT ENOUGH you should be able to achieve your fat loss goals just fine.
