Question for FT4 and FT7 owners

I have a HRM, but it happens to be the same exact model as what my mom has and they get confused when we work out together. *grrrr* So I am looking into possibly purchasing a different brand to where on those occasions. The HRM that I currently have maintains the last 7 sessions/workouts/whatever and I really like this feature. Through all of my research on the Polar FT4 and FT7, I like what I hear, but no one touches on this question. Can anyone else clear this up for me, please?

Thank you!

I have a FT7, it does keep at least 7 session of workout.

I have the FT4....I just looked at it, and I can go back and see my previous ten workouts....Well, nine, plus the one that I JUST completed a few minutes ago!
  • I'm sorry.... what is the question? Are you asking if the Polar FT7 will remember your last few days of workout?

The Polar site has this to say about the FT7: "Weekly history gathers your weekly training data. By selecting a week, you can review your training data for the week."

    http://www.polar.jp/us-en/products/get_active/fitness_crosstraining/FT7

Is that what you're trying to figure out? I have one, LOVE IT, but don't really ever use the recorded data as I log everything here the day I work out!

    Hope this info helps!

I have the FT4 and yes, it does record a history for me. If you were asking if it has the issue of getting "mixed up" with another HRM, according to the literature it's not supposed to do that. I workout at home though so I can't tell you if it actually works or not. I do know that many people use their Polar HRM's at gyms and I would imagine if this were a problem we'd hear about it. Happy shopping!

Thank you, ladies. I definitely appreciate it and got my answer. I also just realized that I spelled "where" wrong. DOH! I feel such a fool! Lol
